Reversing Time to Make Your Image Look Vintage Using Photoshop

Lets learn how to turn this into this!
Today this tutorial will help you create a vintage looking photo through various Photoshop techniques. The skills required are using different layers, layer mask, filters, and basic adjustments.

Filter -->  Noise --> Dust and Scratches. Make the settings like the image shown above.
Duplicate the layer, than go to Filter --> Blur --> Gaussian Blur. Make the settings like the image shown above.

On the same duplicated layer, create a layer mask. Follow up with that by making a radial gradient on the mask layer.

Download the image (vintage background) above to your computer and open it in Photoshop. Select/copy and paste it on top of your image. Go to image --> adjustments ---> desaturated. Go to the blending options and set the vintage background layer to soft light.

At this point your image should look similar to this:

Download the image (grunge background) above to your computer and open it in Photoshop. Select/copy and paste it on top of your image. Go to image --> adjustments ---> desaturated. Go to the blending options and set the grunge background layer to multiply.

On the right side of the screen, above the layers box there should be a level adjustments options. Set the values to 15, 1.48, 255.

At the same location as the levels, there should be a hue/saturation adjustment layer. Check on colorize and set the Hue to 38, Saturation to 22 and Lightness to 0.

AND BAM!! you are done! Here is the final.

Hope this can be used to beautify your memories!
